Started as a test of whether generated narrative holds together across a long session, and kept growing because the failure cases were more interesting than the successes.

Most generated story systems fail the same way: locally plausible, globally incoherent. Every paragraph reads fine and nothing adds up. The work here is in the structure around the model rather than the model itself.
